The Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed house in Northampton; 78 Derngate has stunning interiors to delight and surprise. Public tours are available. In 1916-17 Northampton businessman Wenman Joseph Bassett-Lowke engaged Charles Rennie Mackintosh to remodel the house. Now fully restored, the house has won several awards and has attracted local, national and international attention. It is a must-see for all who are interested in the work of Mackintosh.
