   Beginners WING CHUN KUNG FU Classes take place on Monday evenings at 7.00pm - above the KRO bar in Heaton Moor, Stockport, SK4 4NZ conveniently situated near to Heaton Chapel Train Station. A Shaolin Nun called Ng Mui created the Wing Chun System after witnessing a fight between a Snake and a Crane around 350 years ago. In the 1950’s Grandmaster Ip Man began teaching this system openly to students such as Bruce Lee. Using human dynamics and centreline theory, Wing Chun employs simple and quick movements that enable a practitioner to defend against a much larger opponent (and multiple opponents) using technique rather than strength with devastating results. Suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. Wing Chun Kung Fu DOES NOT use high kicks or flowery movements. IT IS a simple, practical and effective fighting system suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
