    Conservatory Disaster!

    My advice would be to stay clear of MacDale. Our MacDale conservatory had a structural defect , causing it to sink, which Macdale tried to bodge. Their Managing Director came to view & suggested that we'd have more chance of getting Safestyle to fix the problem! Our house insurance wouldn't cover the cost as the structural survey concluded it to be a 'design & build quality defect , therefore always deemed to fail'. It cost me £28K to have the conservatory rebuilt! We took legal action, against people we'd never heard of ,& the company went into liquidation - obviously a fiddle as they're still around. I know of others locally who have experienced similar stories with MacDale.
